Here on the Shopkit blog, we’ve introduced you to some of our product range before, from our contemporary glass display cabinets through to our low voltage lighting. Here, we’re looking at how our components and accessories can be combined to fit out your entire shop.
The complete range can be purchased directly from our online shop, making it easy for you to mix and match to choose exactly what you need for the perfect display system. We offer both tensioned cable and rod systems, as well as low voltage lighting and panel supports for wall mounting.
All of the products below are available in either stainless steel, silver satin anodised aluminium, black anodised aluminium or brass, so you can choose a colour scheme that works for you. And, all of our components are made with the same commitment to quality that you’ve come to expect from Shopkit, so you can be assured of the perfect finish.
Cable system components
Our cable components can be used for a huge range of different purposes, like supporting your shelving system or signage.
Our range of components include tensioners, base weights, fixing plates, tracks, end stops and all the fixings you’ll need for shelf supports, picture grips and even repositionable swivel grips. All fixings are available in two sizes, the 1.5mm system which supports a maximum weight of 70kg, and the 3mm system which supports a maximum weight of 140kg.
Rod system components
Our rod system is a modular display system which also features two different diameters of rod. The two systems are 6mm, which is ideal for lightweight installations like signage and displays, and a 12mm system which is suited for heavyweight use like glass shelving.
The components in the rod systems are designed for ultimate flexibility. This means the supporting rods can be fixed either vertically, horizontally or in a grid with crossover connectors. The components on offer include shelf supports, ceiling fixings, panel grips, picture hooks and wall mountings, as well as the rods, end fixings and tensioners themselves.
Low voltage lighting system components
Our low voltage lighting components are the perfect way to set up your own beautiful and modern lighting system that really showcases your merchandise. We even offer handy lighting kits with everything you need to get started. Each kit includes a number of multipoise lampholders, suspension cables, a transformer and all required fittings.
We also sell the individual components in a mix and match system, making it even easier for you to get a cable suspended low voltage lighting system that suits the requirements of your space. We offer fixing plates, the multipose crossbar lamps themselves, as well as lighting cable, end stops and LED lamps.

Combining our modular display systems with lighting components, and even our glass display cabinets means you have the flexibility to fit out your shop to suit your space, your products and your customers.
